Perennial warm season native, medium height, will grow in many soil types but prefers sandy types, needs 12 inches rain per year, drought tolerant, palatable, slow to establish, not as productive as tame grasses.

Recommended seeding rate of 6 to 7.5 pounds per acre. 1/4 inch seeding depth.
