Sheep Fescue

Perennial introduced bunchgrass that is slower to establish, but more drought tolerant and shorter than Hard Fescues reaching about 1 foot in height. Forms a dense root system, making it ideal for high traffic. Needs only 12 inches of rain per year and does not tolerate flooding.

Recommended seeding rate of 5 to 7 pounds per acre field rate or 5 pounds per 1,000 square feet for turf. 1/4 inch seeding depth.
