Pubescent Wheatgrass

Perennial cool season, high-yielding, cold and drought tolerant introduced grass. Performs well with as little as 11 inches of rain, suited to loamy and sandy soils, while tolerating lower fertility and slightly saline soils. Mix with alfalfa to reduce lodging, reaches up to 3-4 feet in height. Best if harvested by June 20th.

Recommended seeding rate of 8.5 to 10 pounds per acre. 1/2 inch seeding depth.
