Orchardgrass

Perennial, introduced, cool season bunchgrass that needs at least 18 inches of rain but will not tolerate saturation, salinity or high water tables. Matures very early into a productive and palatable stand. Performs best on moderate to well-drained gravelly loam to clay soils. Does not tolerate spring frost well, so winter injury may occur without adequate snow cover.

Recommended seeding rate of 3.5 pounds per acre. 3/8 inch seeding depth.
