Perennial warm season bunchgrass, makes fair feed value, although not very productive. Performs well with as little as 10 inches of rain and usually found in higher drier sites, in sandy to clay loam soils.
Recommended seeding rate of 4 to 4.5 pounds per acre. 1/4 inch seeding depth.
