Indian Rice Grass

Native cool season perennial bunchgrass, short lived, slow-developing and not very competitive, makes highly palatable feed, better suited for grazing and late forage. Requires at least 8 inches of rain per year, very winter hardy, will grow in most soils, prefers full sun, will grow up to 30 inches tall.

Recommended seeding rate of 4.5 to 5.5 pounds per acre. 1/2 inch seeding depth.
