Buffalo Grass
Warm season native grass, forms a dense sod, very low-growing (4-6 inches). Does not tolerate a great deal of traffic, but grows in a wide range of soil types, performing best in clay soils and drier areas; will tolerate some salinity. Offers very good feed value, although not very productive.
Recommended seeding rate of 23 to 26 pounds per acre. 1/4 to 1/2 inch seeding depth.
