Bluebunch Wheatgrass
Native cool season bunchgrass, very palatable and productive, drought tolerant, makes a durable stand. This species pairs well with Western Wheatgrass, Thickspike and Green Needlegrass, but not with aggressive introduced species. Will grow up to 4 feet in height in most soils but prefers medium to heavy soils. Is somewhat saline tolerant, but will not endure high water tables or flooding.
Recommended seeding rate of 8 pounds per acre. Seeding depth is 1/2 inch or less.
