Barkant Turnip

A cool season hybrid of turnip and cabbage. Makes good grazing but poor hay. High water user, redistributes nutrients in soil, suppresses weeds, reduces soil compaction and erosion, increases organic matter, attracts beneficial insects, fair tolerance to frost. Small seed size.

Recommended seeding rate of 3 to 5 pounds per acre. 1/4 to 1/2 inch seeding depth.
