Western Wheatgrass
Perennial cool season native sod forming grass, very palatable and one of the most productive native grasses, although slow to establish. Tolerates some drought, withstands periodic flooding, some salinity (Max Ph 7.5-9; EC 15-25), and spreads especially well on clay sites.
Recommended seeding rate of 8 to 10 pounds per acre. 1/2 inch seeding depth.
